TGIF! I am getting so excited for Halloween. Our neighbors really take decorating seriously, and I cannot wait to see Darby and Sloan dressed up and trick-or-treating with their friends. Darby is going to be a desperado (she went shopping with her dad and has no idea what that is) and Sloan is going to be a skeleton.
Here are some fun things I've rounded up for you this week:
I'm in love with the outfit above I found on Pinterest, but there were no links to the items. I've done my best to recreate for you - shoes, leggings or leggings, tee, jacket, scarf, actual tote or saving-for-college tote.
Single serving pumpkin chocolate chip cookie - yes, please!
My sister started a dog blog and just shared the top ten toys for active dogs. Her dogs are spoiled rotten!
Elf is in town December 9-11. We just bought our tickets!
Here are the 25 books you're going to want to curl up with this fall. Today Will Be Different is on request for me at the library. Maria Semple also wrote Where'd You Go, Bernadette which I recently read and loved. I just started The Little Paris Bookshop - it's a slow start, but I'm warming up to it.
I know some of you are probably thinking about Christmas shopping already. A few years ago I gave Mark paintings of our dogs that he loved. Unfortunately, the Etsy artist I purchased them from doesn't do dog portraits anymore, but I like this shop, this shop, this shop, and this shop. Most of the shops say they need your order by November 1 to guarantee it in time for Christmas. See below for how ours turned out. I'm planning on getting them matted and framed one day.
Speaking of Christmas, Busch Gardens Christmas Town single day tickets go on sale for only $16 starting November 1. The price will gradually increase based on the number of tickets sold on a particular day, so get ready to buy yours early.
Have a great week!
